A visually appealing Twitch channel is important when it comes to attracting more viewers and finding a stream overlay package is a great place to start. They come with panels, Twitch alerts and various other assets such as “starting soon” and “stream ending” stream screens.
Our Most Popular Twitch Overlays
Here are the things we considered when ranking Twitch overlays:
- Branding – we look at popular brands that produce free and premium Twitch graphics that are professionally created that help your channel’s thumbnail stand out.
- Design Quality – you need overlays that look good and match the rest of your graphics. Show your professionalism in everything you do while maintaining the integrity of your brand.
- Diversity – every channel is unique and you will want graphics that appeal to your viewers. We looked for platforms that offer several options that will work for different channel styles.

4. StreamScheme Twitch Overlays
Yes, we put ourselves on this list. While we don’t have a large collection of designs to offer you, our team has created four different stream graphics packs that we offer for free on our Discord server.
We created three different styles (that you can see in the video above) that we believe complement several different streaming genres. They are easily installed on Streamlabs OBS and OBS and we have guides to help you set them up (also on our Discord server).
Our Discord is filled with streamers who are happy to chat or answer each other’s technical questions or give each other ideas on how to grow. We may add more packs (or other resources) there in the future.

8. StreamShark Graphics
Which Design is Right for Your Channel?
When looking for the right Twitch graphics for your stream, there are several things you should consider. There are dozens of options that you can choose or build off, which can make it difficult to narrow down your options. However, with the right understanding of your brand and content, you should be able to find the best HUDs for you.
Here are the things you should consider:
- Stream branding – base your Twitch overlays on the graphics and designs of the rest of your channel. Use the same colors and styles to keep everything similar and on point.
- Content – if you exclusively play Dead by Daylight, having a pink design decorated with rainbow unicorns may not be reflective of your overall brand. Then again, maybe you’re on to something…
- Affordability – especially when you are starting out, it is difficult to shell out money for custom graphics. You will need to weigh the price of the panels to find something that best suits you.
