Formerly known as DeIlluminati, the TheIlluminati emote makes reference to the Illuminati, a secret society that was founded in 1776 and was eventually disbanded… supposedly. Illuminati references are made both online and in day-to-day scenarios. While most people do not believe that the Illuminati still exists, others point to many “signs” that the society remains.
The emote is used when one of these “signs” pops up or when someone makes reference to a conspiracy theory.
