Popular Streamers Who Were Formerly On Facebook Gaming

Some of the most popular streamers who made their name on other streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube has become part of the Facebook Gaming community as well. Below are a few of the top streamers who formerly partnered with Facebook Gaming and streamed exclusively on the said platform:

  1. Disguised Toast

To be fair, Disguised Toast was a household name before he left Twitch for Facebook Gaming in November 2019. Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang began to stream on Twitch in October 2016. He gained notoriety as one of the largest Hearthstone streamers. He also gained popularity while playing Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra

On Facebook, Disguised Toast played a variety of games, including League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Apex Legends. However, on November 18, 2021, Disguised Toast announced on his Twitter page that he has left Facebook Gaming. He’s now back to streaming on Twitch.

  2. Corinna Kopf

Corinna Kopf is another streamer who signed an exclusive deal with Facebook Gaming in December 2019. She played Fortnite and used to chat on her Facebook page.  On Twitch, she had been banned for wearing “undergarments” on stream and had overall issues with the platform.

On March 1, 2022, Corinna Kopf announced that she would leave Facebook Gaming after her contract expired. That same month, Corinna Kopf returned to Twitch, but was temporarily banned again by the platform in May for wearing “inappropriate attire”.

Corinna Kopf also has a popular Instagram page and YouTube Channel.

Conclusion

Many streamers find that growth is easier on Facebook than it was on Twitch. As streamers move from Twitch to other platforms, the entire industry may shift over the next few years.
