On August 10th, 2020, Amazon made the decision to rebrand Twitch Prime to Prime Gaming as a way to appeal across a wider audience and more platforms, rather than being tied down to just Twitch. However, your free Prime channel subscription and drops (in-game loot), are only available on Twitch.
