calendar1 Last Updated

Could your live streams and video content use new sound effects? Utilizing high-quality sound alerts is a quick and easy way to take your Twitch or YouTube content to the next level. In this article, we will explore what SoundBible has to offer, and determine if it is a worthy resource to improve your online content.

What is SoundBible?

SoundBible is an online library containing thousands of free sound clips available for download in either wav or mp3 format. You can also find a few premium sound packs found at the bottom of the page, but those will come at a cost. SoundBible offers a really good selection of sounds, mostly targeting video editors, teachers, and game designers, who may not have the budget available to spend on premium sound effects.

How to Use SoundBible

  1. Step 1:

Go to SoundBible‘s website. You will not have to sign up for an account to download any of their sounds.

  2. Step 2:

Use the search bar at the top of the screen to begin searching for sounds. Let’s try searching for a cat’s “meow” as an example.

Once you begin searching, all related sound effects will be presented. From here, you can preview the waveform, see it’s Attribution License information, a short description of the sound, and how many times it has been downloaded.
