Dr. Randy Pausch Scholarship
Dr. Randy Pausch was a professor of computer science, design, and human-computer interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. After being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, he gave a lecture on how to achieve your childhood dreams and wrote a book called “The Last Lecture” before he passed away.
After his death, CMU pledged to honor him by creating a memorial scholarship reserved for women majoring in computer science as a nod to a man who advocated and mentored many women in the field.
