Pop music is great for chill Just Chatting streams or fun, carefree games. Though playing well-known tracks are prohibited on Twitch, you can find royalty-free pop songs that will keep your viewers smiling while you dance in your chair.
There is a lot of confusion when it comes to DMCA Free Music. Using copyrighted music on stream could result in muted VODs or worse get your channel banned from the platform due to DMCA strikes.
Is Pop Royalty Free?
In order to ensure that you don’t get a DMCA strike, you will need to use royalty-free music. Renting or buying music for personal use doesn’t allow you to legally stream it to your channel.
One of the best sources for royalty-free music is Epidemic Sound. They have over 30,000 tracks in several different genres and each song is categorized to help you find the music you want for your stream. The best news is that they off a free 30-day trial so that you can check out their music for yourself.
A membership with Epidemic Sound will allow you to access and use their library of music on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. You are free to create without worrying that you will get DMCA strikes on any content made while your membership is active, and the company won’t come after you for that content even if you end your membership.
