While there isn’t an in-built way to create stylized text on Discord, you can format your text using Markdown. This process will allow you to underline, strikethrough, or italicize your test. You can also write in bold or send chunks of text in boxers.

How to Make Strikethrough Text on Discord

To create a strikethrough word or phrase on Discord, you will need to type your message between two sets of two tildes. Here is an example:

Once you press send, the text will appear in on the platform with a line through it. 

How to Make Bold Text on Discord

To create a bold word or phrase on Discord, you will need to type your message between two sets of two asterisks. Here is an example.

Once you press send, your bolded message will appear in the channel. 

How to Make Bold Italics Text on Discord

If you are writing multiple lines, you will need to write them within two sets of three backticks. Here is an example:

Then it will look right.“`

Once you press send, your boxed message will appear in the channel. 

How to Create Quote Text in Discord

To create quoted text in Discord, you will need to use the > key. If you are only creating a single lined quote, you will need to write your text after one > symbol. Here is an example: 

> This is how to write a quote on Discord.

If you are writing multiple lines, you will need to write them after three > symbols. Here is an example:

You will need to type out your phrase after three special symbols.

Then it will look right.

Once you press send, your quote will appear in the channel.
